There are much more important things to blog about. I have too many however, due to the recent legislation’s of our great president! I don’t feel like getting myself all worked up over it at the moment, so I’m posting a light cheerful post about puppies! haha
The worst decisions ever made by a president within [...]

Different responses to adoption Month
I wrote an earlier post about my opinion of national adoption month and I also posted an article written by another birth mom. There are so many different views though of adoption and therefore of adoption month also. These are just a few below. The first article below references my blog post on adoption day, [...]
Adoption poster girl
Sometimes I kind of act like it! I think I really do convince about one person everyday to adopt. It just comes out..I can’t help it! If I could get payed for referring people to adoption, I’d be rich! The data and statistics just flow right out of my mouth. [...]

I really don’t think I want anyone to read this blog, yet I do make it public online. I can’t understand it. I think it’s because people always ask me “what have you been up to” or “what are you doing now” and the truth is alot of stuff like this that no one really [...]

The Story of a Girl
-
From God’s arms to my arms to yours
If you choose to tell her,
If she wants to know,
How the one who gave her life
Could bear to let her go.
Just tell her there were sleepless nights
I prayed and paced the floors,
And knew the only peace I'd find,
Was if this child was yours. And maybe, you could tell your baby, When u love her so,how she's been loved before
By someone, who delivered her from,
God's arms, to my arms, to yours.
This may not be the answer,
For another girl like me.
But I'm not on a soapbox,
Saying how we all should be.
I'm just trusting in my feelings,
And I'm trusting God above,
And I'm trusting you can give this baby
Both her mother's love.

Adoption Healing

Adoption Healing, by Joe Soll, C.S.W.
"Adoption Healing ...a path to recovery" is a book that deals with truth -- not the way people would prefer to see it, but exactly the way it is. Not only does it validate those feelings of doubt, fear, anxiety and loss that so many adoptees and birth mothers feel, but it gives you ways and exercises to help you deal with those feelings. I strongly suggest that everyone read it. It will help you to understand yourself, your sister or brother, your child, your partner or spouse."
Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the floor each morning, the Devil says "Oh crap, she's up!"
The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new.

It is the willingness to do things differently
that allows the human race to progress."
