Ok, so my post earlier today, Thank God for Kids, has to follow up with this one. After reading this please look at the video found in this post too. Check out bornalivetruth.org for more info. If you disagree or I am wrong, please correct me. i really would prefer to be wrong in this case. I have never been more upset over a political candidate before. The truth is online and confirmed by all news sources, why can’t he just admit he messed up? Isn’t that the first sign of a good leader anyways, in my opinion being honest and fessing up is. But the thing is, I guess if he started admitting to one of his lies, then he may have to admit to all of them and that would tear down his entire campaign. I hope eveyrone watched the special on Fox news Sunday night showing Obama’s ties. How can one deny these truths, still? If you continue watching, later that evening Joe the plumber helped bring out more of Obama’s lies, but the democrats were too busy watching CBS or NBS I’m sure. What do we do, what can we do, to save our country from this? I know my grandfather who was a four star general in the US Airforce and in the CIA until the day he died, is looking down on us now and wishing America would open their eyes. Obama’s role model and “father figure” as a child..”Frank” as Obama refers to him as, is Frank Marshall Davis, was a communist. Acorn, Planned Parenthood, I could go on and on. And the issue below is just as important/
So, God has placed a huge passion for in my heart for this issue. Believe me, I would of chosen any other issue too, but this one! It is so controversial and I don’t usually do controversy! I hope I don’t ever come across as thinking I am “higher than thou” or “more christian” than anyone else. I am anything but that. I just want to reveal how God convicted my soul on this issue. I was against abortion before this past year, but I wouldn’t of run for the girl walking inside the clinic either…so maybe that’s just like Obama’s “present” vote…I was just a coward. Yes, I would run for herand try to inform her of all her options, much like I hope someone would of done for me if I had gone that way.
The election comes down to one issue for me (although the other issues I’m glad I have Mccain for). Maybe it’s because I witnessed the miracle of life up close this year with the birth of my little girl (which I just got 6months updates of today, btw!) and I got to really witness what a blessing children are to so many people. But, basically I believe that at the end of the day, when voters go to their booths, they must admit that their morals will be tested. They know there vote WILL mean millions of unborn babies will never see the light of day or they will get a chance to live. As I understand it, if Obama signs the Freedom of “choice” act, first thing in Washington, as he plans to do…all those kids, will never Exist. Their GOD GIVEN freedom to life, was made into a joke. I am not perfect, and I know it’s a hard decision. I think that’s why the decision just shouldn’t be offered. (That idea won’t fly right now, but I’d like to get as close to that as possibe) Because eve in rape, I know how wonderful a child can be! So, if…. (and I quote Mother Teresa AGAIN) “Children are God in disguise,” then why is this even an issue here?
My main concern is Obama’s stance on partial birth abortions…or more like his unwillingness to stand for the rights of the innocent (who are also women sometimes too). He is not middle of the line on this issue, ias he wants us to think, in fact he is on the far far end of the pro-abortion fight. And it’s also about the fact that he lied AGAIN about it and then insulted the woman (below in video) in response and also added in a Mccain jabb that was untrue. What an awesome guy! Here is link to my post, Obama’s Apology, and the video link I received via http://prolifeblogs.com, that is very gruesome yet real and true!
I would like to say hate, but I try not to…although he is pushing it. But, I extremely, extremely dislike Obama right now! I keep picturing all the babies at Gladney (that were cute as ever) and my Annie, man she was perfect, and then imagining how the world would be in ten years if our morals keep on sliding….As it becomes more acceptable to abort, places like Gladney will see half as many babies and young women choosing life. I just know it! Think about how this generation pushed the limits, how every generation does, the next will be celebrating abortion with parties! (Oh yes, have you seen some of the youtube posts, one woman “said Ive had three and saved my family tons of money! I love abortion!” and “Yeah to killing babies, it’s what America was founded on” Don’t underestimate the younger generation.
The claim most pro-choice suppoters use , that I’ve talked to have said…(which sorry to me pro-choice does mean pro-abortion, anyone that does nothing is just as guilty-could that not be one of the main themes in the bible, along with love your (unborn) neighbor, and protect the defenseless) So the big claim they make is that people would get abortions anyways..and this just protects them from hurting themselves. So if people are going to do something wrong anyways… we should just make it easier for them not to hurt themselves while doing it? Got it. Yeah, that one won’t be a lesson I hope my daughter learns! I have ALOT to say in response to that last claim too, but I will limit it for now. First, again who protects the baby from getting hurt in that excuse? They have rights too. Or no? Secondly, It’s somewhat rude but…SO WHAT! They are willing doing it to themselves and the child. These babies have no choice! (refer back here towards the end of post, when I mention natural selection) If we really cared about these women we need to educate and provide young women with more options, like my favorite ADOPTION, instead of giving up on everyone! I believe by not informing the woman of ALL her options you are lying to her basically. The abortion industry does just this by not providing the availability or knowledge of the other options. Why do you think they set up shop in “poor neighborhoods” Thirdly, so since people will kill or do anything against what we know to be wrong, we should give up on our duty to be God’s hands and feet on earth? No we need to get to work on reaching some of these woman NOW. This issue will continue to be talked about and become something our kids just grow up used to. I’m sorry but I don’t want my child to live in a world where man’s choice takes claim over the life of a child. I guess she already is, but maybe it won’t be somehow by God’s grace when she is older. And just in case anyone thinks that’s lude or untasteful to show the reality of abortions…I like this quote from Piper:
Justifying the Desires of Our Hearts
“This disease affects every one of us more or less. The mind perceives reality selectively in order to justify what the heart desires. Complete objectivity—whatever side you are on—is a myth.
If showing pictures of mutilated babies threatens your desire for abortion on demand, then the pictures are emotionally manipulative or in bad taste or irrelevant. But if showing dead sea otters or oil slicked cranes or mutilated seals helps your cause, then this is simply telling it like it is and forcing people to come to terms with what is really happening.”
by John Piper
So even though I pretty much despise Obama at the current moment..I think the best think we can do is pray for him (especially if he gets into office) We need to pray that the Lord convicts his heart on this issue. While we are at it, let’s pray that God convicts the hearts of the rest of the world to. My friend and I were recently talking about how it’s funny that we never pray for world peace anymore (we did when little, you know, “God please save [insert every relative, dog, and anyone we ever met] and God save the world, Amen”) She said by not praying that…it’s kinda like we don’t think our prayers matter on that issue or that even God can’t do something that big. And we can’t forget that God can do ANYTHING that big and at anytime he wants to. So this partial birth abortion issue, is apiece of cake for him. Just imagine if all his children on earth began praying for this one issue of abortion, it’s be gone in no time..i think he wants that to be our heart’s desire too. So I’m dedicated to praying for Obama & the democratic party for a season at least. It won’t be fun, I imagine…haha. Oh, we also decided then we should pray for Brittaney Spears too…lol (for some reason we really want her to do good and turn around) And maybe if we pray for all the unborn children too, that will make a difference. I’m a total believer in prayers, I think they are responsible for way more than we realize. I know I could feel the prayers of others when I was going through my pregnancy and adoption stuff. It feels like God’s hand is on your shoulder’s or something…gently guiding you through life. I like to think that maybe my daughter smiles andlaugh’s so much…(this is probably just a birth mom’s weird thinking) but maybe it’s because she feels all my prayers for her and she knows deep in her soul how much she is loved!
And once again, as most know, I was “unaware I was pregnant until the 7 month…so I’m not saying I wouldn’t of considered abortion in the 1st or 2nd month. (this is so hard to write, picturing my girl today) But it’s true, I like to think i always knew..I mean i was a blimp and refused to get a blood test, etc… But still, I don’t know. It’s as if I just didn’t trust myself and thought if I never knew for sure, then it wasn’t really true. I hope I wouldn’t of considered it at all, but only God truly knows my heart and maybe that’s why my eyes were blinded to the obvious fact i was pregnant. It was my worst fear since I was a teenager, that one day I’d have to make a choice that hard, and I told Him I couldn’t do it. So maybe he was protecting her and me at the same time. That’s why I feel so strongly about this…If I had gone up to an abortion clinic I would of hoped hoped hoped now that someone would of stopped me and would have shown love and understanding adnd alone, but that doesn’t mean we can’t give life for a child. And as society becomes more accustomed to this practice….it’s far to easy to run and “end” your “problem” with out thinking twice. Most abortions are decisions made very quickly. And we can’t forget, there is always the “me” factor that comes first when anything scary or threatening to alter your life occurs. It is proven that the natural human impulse is to protect yourself, and getting rid of the “problem” is the result implication. I will admit to everyone that my first thought was very selfish, the first thing that popped into my head was…”well, who will want me now?” If that isn’t a cry for a girl to be saved by God again and get her priorities in order! (Oh wait, I just remembered the first thought, was actually you Bast@rd! haha. But that was the second) Then a few weeks later, when i heard that heartbeat for the first time, forget it, I was in love already I think! So if we were given more time and less options so available, I assume more lives would be saved. Also at the abortion clinic they are told (I hear from personal encounters) things, much like birth mother’s are told in the adoption agencies, that we will move past this and go back to normal life in no time! (with a smile) But it just isn’t true. Children are to far to precious to not impact you for life. It’s something I knew going into the adoption…I really think all of us in that dorm did, we just smiled and nodded though when they said we’d be “out dating again, or forget most of this in no time.” Birth Moms aren’t as easily manipulated as people think. But back to post- abortion, this difference is that my “suffering” can be joyful suffering for the Lord, which is a blessing. (Job can confirm that one) I miss her like water and air, but I find comfort in the fact that my daughter is so happy and such a gift from God to so many people. After abortion, they have to live with a much worse, much more conflicting pain. I could go on forever about this though, because I know how many woman are ashamed because they have had one, and I wish they would forgive themselves like God has! And then use it as a way to praise God, stand up to help other women. Praise God through the most horrible things you think you have done..that’s what I think He really wants us to do. Show the world how anything and anyone can be turned around fully by the Grace of our God! I have been praying for the father of my child recently, (it’s hard to say rapist in that context) And i don’t know where that idea came from! But I mean, if one day God decided to convict his soul and make him a new man in Christ, would that not be a blessing. See I’m already worried about my daughter in her 30’s maybe going to see who he is or something…so I thought that would be nice if she found him someday and he was a preacher or something (another birth mom fantasy probably) We shall see.
Anyway, for me it’s almost as if, because there wasn’t a law to stop me from doing evil, I was determined to find another way to prevent myself from doing it. As strange as that sounds! Now I have this theory or more belief that in every woman’s heart, is a deep internal love of children and of giving life….I think though, because we are human and the ways of the world are so hard to hide from, we are blinded by our heart’s desire of these things. I honestly think, if you took the boyfriendnd, the ex-boyfriendnd, the parents, the affair you may of had, the rapist you may of come across, the opinions of your peers (especially if young & in school), the media, the image society has of an unwed mother, etc..OUT OF THE PICTURE! You would be left with a woman, carrying a baby inside her, with a pure heart unaffected by any one’s opinions of her but God’s. I think then we all would choose to give life, always. Maybe I’m wrong on this, but it would explain or be a point that supports the fact that most women deeply regret an abortion afterward. It’s such a deep seeded gift from God, to Women only, to reproduce. That’s why it may seem impossible to escape the pain after an abortion. (Most pro-life supporters I’ve found, are woman that have had abortions before and are trying to warn other women) So if you look at it that way, in my opinion, who abortion REALLY protects is, MEN, especially men who now don’t have to worry as much about their “escapades” or using precautions, it protects economists concerned with population growth, the abortion industry profits, the psychiatry industry cause you know they get a few post-abortion clients, and also pharmaceutical industry, and possibly the devil…but definitively not the “true” Woman. In fact, back to the promiscuous men protection, abortion screams unsafe sex is cool now, So obama’s solution to teaching precaution in schools to reduce abortions is a joke too and throwing money away again) I mean has he talked to a high school boy? I’m sure in sex ed one of the first responses from a guy is, “but why use precaution when we have morning after pills and can have abortions 3, 5, up to 8 months later sometimes?” We are instilling real values all over the place!
A quote in reference to what changes of heart a woman could have if given more time to consider and less immediate options. By who else, but my man,Piper:
Once Paul left Damascus and slipped into Arabia, he began taking inventory. There were no “To Do Before Sundown” lists. No “Six Fast Steps to Success” or other self-help scrolls clumped under his arms. He was alone. He walked slower. He watched sand swirl over the stones. He thought deeply about his past. He relived what he had done. He returned to what he had experienced on the road to Damascus. He considered each new dawn a gift from the Lord, the perfect opportunity to rework his priorities and rethink his motives. It takes time, of course . . . lots of time. But time spent in solitude prepares us for the inevitable challenges that come at us from the splintered age in which we live.
Slow down. Sit still. Be quiet. Rethink.
Of course, I you don’t believe in the Bible than that point is mute (like post I make)
I was just thinking…doesn’t abortion TOTALLY confuse natural selection? I mean, unless it is part of it…since the strongest are basically choosing the weakest to die? For centuries natural selection has determined our lineage and who we are today (which God mandated) I need to think about this one some more, wow, we may be messing up a whole lot more than we realize yet. We could be “un-selecting” babies to die…that would of been on the ‘good side in the end” Now I’m getting very hypothetical and biblical on ya… But the end times may be sooner than we think, and doesn’t the world basically divide then and turn on each other? I want “baby Goliath” that is at risk of being aborted, to be on my side of that battle if it comes! Ok, done with that far fetched ideas. In conclusion, to protect the mother and child, would be to implement a law so you have no option to burn your baby alive in your womb… I mean does that really sound therapeutic for either one, short term or long term? I just a very willing to admit that I sometimes don’t have a clue what’s best for me! I choose the wrong thing whenever i don’t ask God about it first. Ok so case over. We all vote Mccain and start reaching out to pregnant women. Especially those within a 5 miles of abortion clinics! Yeah right, I wish….
But don’t forget to pray for them, Obama, and the unborn little guys, ok. And watch video. Then please read below it, because I know my words above probably won’t convince anyone…but below might.
So, in the video, is it Hannity & Colms? I can’t spell em right. But, whoever is on the right, is not my favorite person in the world! She takes him on though! I love her! Her disease is a “gift” to her!
My goodness! It does all come down to morals in any election..some have em, and some think what they have, are.

Fact Checks
Claims
1. Hospitals weren’t leaving children to die.
Obama: “There was no documentation that hospitals were actually doing what was alleged.”
Reality: After seeing a colleague place an infant who survived an abortion in the hospital’s soiled utility room, our spokesperson and former Christ Hospital nurse Jill Stanek testified before Congress and several state legislatures of holding a live aborted infant for 45 minutes until he gasped for his last breath. Another Christ Hospital nurse, Allison Baker, testified before Congress after observing similar practices.
2. The Born Alive Infants Protection Act was unnecessary because IL already had an abortion law.
Obama: On the Fact Check section of Obama’s website, the campaign asserted the Born Alive Infants Protection Act was unnecessary because the same provisions were provided in the Illinois Abortion Law of 1975.
Reality: The 1975 law specifies medical care should be given to infants who, before being aborted, are considered viable - by the very doctor aborting them.
3. The Born Alive Infants Protection Act would overturn Roe vs. Wade
Reality: The bill only granted infants outside of the womb legal protection and thus didn’t encroach on abortion.
4. Obama would have voted for the federal Born Alive Infants Protection Act
Obama: “At the federal level, there was a similar bill that passed because it had an amendment saying this does not encroach on Roe vs. Wade. I would have voted for that bill.”
Reality: In 2003, as chairman of the Illinois Senate’s Health and Human Services Committee, Obama voted yes on an amendment that made the Illinois version identical to the federal one. However, he then voted no on the amended bill.

against abortion survivor Gianna Jessen.
Statement from Gianna Jessen: “Mr. Obama is clearly blinded by political ambition given his attack on me this week. All I asked of him was to do the right thing: support medical care and protection for babies who survive abortion – as I did 31 years ago. He voted against such protection and care four times even though the U.S. Senate voted 98-0 in favor of a bill identical to the one Obama opposed. In the words of his own false and misleading ad, his position is downright vile. Mr. Obama said at the recent Saddleback Forum that the question of when babies should get human rights was above his pay grade. Such vacillation and cowardice in public policy almost left me to die and no one should have to go through what I went through.”
Statement from Jill Stanek: “It is despicable, repulsive and beneath contempt that Barack Obama would attack Gianna Jessen. She is a courageous abortion survivor and living miracle who would not be with us today if Obama’s policies had been in place when she was born. Mr. Obama continues to mislead the American people on this issue, he voted four times against medical care and protection for babies who survive abortions in the Illinois State Senate, while the U.S. Senate was voting 98-0 to pass an identical bill. Mr. Obama needs to come forward and tell the American people that he understands people like Gianna Jessen, and that he will support and enforce Born Alive Infant protections — that these are living, breathing human beings who have come into our world and deserve protection in the law and should receive medical care at health care facilities. These babies have the same rights as the rest of us.”

Jill Stanek’s Story
My name is Jill Stanek. In 1999, I discovered that Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois, where I worked as a labor and delivery nurse, was leaving babies who survived induced labor abortions to die in the soiled utility room.
I personally held one of these infants 45 minutes until he gasped his last breath.
When I explained my experience to hospital administrators, they refused to stop their horrific treatment of these infants.
After going public, my story immediately grabbed the attention of legislators and media, which resulted in the introduction of the Illinois Born Alive Infants Protection Act.
Christ Hospital fired me in August 2001 for reasons related to my public statements.
I testified before Barack Obama in the Illinois Senate Judiciary Committee and Health and Human Services Committee as well as the US House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution.
On August 5, 2002, I joined President George W. Bush for his signing of the federal version of the Born Alive Infants Protection Act.
Frequently Asked Questions
- When during pregnancy are medical tests given to determine if babies have a life threatening or serious illness?Usually during the first and second trimesters.
- What are typical illnesses of infants where doctors advise an induced labor abortion?Fatal anomalies where the newborn is predicted to live hours to months or are correctable only with extraordinary means include anencephaly; chromosomal abnormalities such as Trisomy 13, Trisomy 16, Trisomy 18, tetraploidy, and 4p-syndrome; complex heart lesions; holoprosencephaly; infantile polycystic kidney disease; lethal dwarfing syndromes; Niemann-Pick Type A disease; renal agenesis; Tay-Sachs disease, and Vitamin B-12 nonresponsive methylmalonic academia*Nonfatal anomalies include cystic fibrosis; moderate to severe mental retardation; spina bifida; teratogens or viral exposure such as fetal rubella or HIV; Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome)*This list was taken from Christ Hospital’s Draft-Confidential Termination of Pregnancy Guidelines dated April 1, 1998.
- What percentage of babies survive the induced labor abortion procedure?According to the Chicago Sun-Times, March 31, 2001: “A spokesman for Christ Hospital’s parent, Advocate Health Care… estimated that between 10 percent and 20 percent of fetuses with genetic defects that are aborted survive for short periods outside the womb.”
- What is the common cause of death for babies who survive induced labor abortion? Many are not viable because they are sick or too premature. The ones who could live most often die of asphyxiation, a deficient supply of oxygen.
- Of the babies who survive an induced birth abortion, could some continue living with appropriate medical care?Yes, a baby’s ability to survive is dependent on two factors:
-
- What point in gestation (how many weeks gestation, how many weeks pregnant, what the gestational age is) he or she was delivered. Babies have been known to survive as early as 23 weeks gestation, which is a little over 5 months of pregnancy,
- What resuscitation was available and administered to the baby immediately upon delivery. We know that severely premature babies born in a hospital with neonatal intensive care services survive at a much higher rate than babies born at a hospital without such services then transferred to a hospital with such neonatal intensive care services. The only difference is in the timing of resuscitation.
-
- Didn’t the IL Born Alive bill become unnecessary after the federal bill passed? The federal legislation was focused on Federal laws only, ensuring that for purposes of federal law, the terms “human being,” “person,” “child,” and “individual” include all born alive infants. The Illinois statute ensures that the same is true for purposes of Illinois law. The two bills are complementary, and the Illinois legislation was necessary to ensure that born alive infants in IL and not at a Federal hospital were fully protected under Illinois law.

If we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people to not kill each other? Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what they want. This is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion.

National Prayer Breakfast Speech Against Abortion (1994)
Taxes are like abortion, and not just because both are grotesque procedures supported by Democrats. You’re for them or against them. Taxes go up or down; government raises taxes or lowers them. But Democrats will not let the words “abortion” or “tax hikes” pass their lips.
Democrats couldn’t care less if people in Indiana hate them. But if Europeans curl their lips, liberals can’t look at themselves in the mirror.

I am a girl just trying to follow the path God has for me. I'm a daughter, sister, and recent birth mom of a beautiful baby girl who is was adopted into a wonderful family. The poem you have added to the end of your post was not by a Mark Bates and that isn’t the correct wording, it should be:
“In Germany, they came first for the Communists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist;
And then they came for the trade unionists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist;
And then they came for the Jews, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew;
And then . . . they came for me . . . And by that time there was no one left to speak up.”
